About

My name is Jonathan Woodyard, when I was young my little sister couldn't pronounce my name quite right so my nickname became Dondon.

I grew up in Papua New Guinea, the Kani village Dahamo until I was 12 as an MK or Missionary Kid, the family then moved to Georgia, just outside of Atlanta, where my dad is from before settling in Orlando, Florida where I went to High School.

After graduating High School I went to Torchbearers International Bible Schools Bodenseehof in Friedrichshafen, Germany, and Tauernhof in Schladming, Austria.

In 2002 I joined the US Army and was stationed at the Rose Barracks in Vilseck, Germany.

I met my wife while I was still a soldier, she asked me to stay with her so I left the military lifestyle and started living on the German economy with her as a civilian expat in 2006.

In 2008 I moved back to Orlando in search of work and to file some paperwork on our kids, but because of the recession, I moved back to Nuremberg with my wife in 2009.

We moved to Würzburg in 2014 because we couldn't find a large enough apartment in my wife's hometown and the three kids needed more bedrooms.

In June of 2022, I separated from my wife who asked me for a divorce, and moved back to Orlando, Florida permanently.
